INJURY MOTORCYCLE CRASH HWY 370


A Prineville man was seriously injured Friday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on Highway 370 near milepost 11, about 7 miles west of Prineville.

On June 26, 2009, at about 2:43 PM, a 1982 Honda Goldwing motorcycle driven by GARY BROCK, age 59, from Prineville, was eastbound on Highway 370 near milepost 11. BROCK lost control of the motorcycle while negotiating a curve leaving the roadway coming to rest in the eastbound ditch.

BROCK was ejected from the motorcycle at the time of the crash and suffered serious injuries. BROCK was wearing a protective helmet at the time of the crash.

BROCK was transported by Air-Link air-ambulance to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend.

Oregon State Police troopers from the Prineville work site are completing the investigation. Crook County Sheriff's Office and Crook County Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
